Booking terms and conditions
Plain-English terms for Gallivanta tours and bookings.

Deposits and payment
A non-refundable deposit (usually NZ$500 per person) secures your booking. The balance is due 90 days before departure. Bookings made within 90 days of departure require full payment.
Cancellations
Cancellation fees apply on a sliding scale as departure approaches, and supplier charges may also apply. Full details are provided with your booking form.
Changes by us
We may need to alter itineraries due to weather, safety or supplier changes. If a significant change occurs, we will offer you an alternative or a refund of the affected services.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory for all tour participants and must cover medical expenses, repatriation and cancellation.
Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, visas and any vaccinations required for your trip. We will help with guidance but cannot accept responsibility for refused entry.
Our role
For third-party products such as flights and cruises, Gallivanta acts as an agent for the supplier, and the supplier’s terms also apply.
